Temple of Christ the King

The Temple of Christ the King in Pasto was built by the Jesuits after they decided to tear down the church of Santo Toribio, built in 1572. In addition to this land, the image of Christ Sibundoy was inherited from the Dominican community in 1583 and is considered one of the temple’s artistic and religious jewels.
