A place where tourists get an idea of the essence of Pasto is the Blacks and Whites Carnival Museum. Located in the Pandiaco cultural centre, the museum tells the story of Narño’s biggest festival of Nariño, held in Pasto at the beginning of January. The giant figures that roam the streets during the Carnival parade as well as 15 works in wood by Alfonso Zambrano are prominently displayed.
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Hiking up volcanoes and visiting museums, churches, nature reserves and beaches within reach of Pasto are on the list of plans to enjoy in Nariño.
