The village of El Valle is a good place to witness the awakening of the birds in the forest early in the morning, especially while canoeing down the river Tundó. Here you can also visit the El Tigre waterfall, about a half-hour walk through the jungle, and the Embera indigenous communities.
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES
There is no shortage of activities in Chocó. A few ideas: glide through mangroves in a canoe, visit waterfalls by the sea, and bathe in hot springs.
