Zapatosa Swamp

The Zapatosa swamp is a system of wetlands along the lower middle course of the Magdalena River, where travelers can watch many species of birds and navigate in canoes. The swamp plays an integral role feeding the inhabitants of towns like Chimichagua, in the center of the department of Cesar. One of its main attractions is the Beaches of Love.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Unforgettable experiences in Valledupar include bathing in rivers, walking in parks, getting close to indigenous cultures, and seeing how children learn to play vallenato music.
