The mine is 40 kilometres north of Valledupar, on the road to Atánquez. At this site the Badillo river current decreases, which allows visitors to swim in a natural pool that is protected by white rocks of strange shapes. La Mina is one of several spas in the region formed by the melting snow of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Bathing in rivers, walking in parks, getting close to indigenous cultures and seeing how children learn to play the vallenato music are unforgettable experiences in Valledupar.
