Alfonso Lopez Square

Alfonso Lopez Square is the center of every celebration held in Valledupar. It’s surrounded by well-preserved colonial houses, and known for a mango tree under which people gather to talk, and for “The Ongoing Revolution,” a bronze sculpture by Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt. The Church of the Immaculate Conception is located by the square.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Unforgettable experiences in Valledupar include bathing in rivers, walking in parks, getting close to indigenous cultures, and seeing how children learn to play vallenato music.
