The Totumo Volcano

The only thing visitors to want to do in Galerazamba, 25 miles away from Cartagena, is mud-bathe. Visitors climb about 65 feet up a wooden staircase leading to the mouth of the Totumo Volcano. There, they descend into the crater and come into contact with a dense, grey fluid in a space with room for about 10 people.

This city is an open-air museum, but has more than just culture and history to offer. Cartagena is also a traveler destination for beaches, water sports, and crafts, among other things.
