Located between the islands of Tintipán and Múcura, two hours south of Cartagena, the island of Santa Cruz is one of the most densely populated territories in the world, since about a thousand people live on less than three acres of land. Its streets are narrow, the houses are painted in bright colors, and the football field is no more than 50 feet long and 20 feet wide.
