The Marial Stone

A place of pilgrimage in the town of El Peñol, located 62 kilometres east of Medellín, is the stone of the Marial, a natural sanctuary that is dedicated to the worship of the Virgin of the Divine Shepherd. At this site there is a gushing water spring to which many believers attribute miraculous properties. A pilgrimage is held each year on the last Saturday in May.
