The Church of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá, which was built between 1925 and 1959, is an excellent example of Gothic architecture in Bogotá. Striking windows of Czech origin line the aisles and the altar of this temple, where parishioners worship a replica of the venerated image of the Virgin of Chiquinquirá, patroness of Colombia.
