On the shores of the Loretoyacu River, whose waters are black because of the decomposition of plants, is Puerto Nariño, a quiet village inhabited by about 7,700 people, mostly of indigenous origin. The bright colors of the facades of their wooden houses and the fact that there are no cars here draw the attention of visitors. In the township you can find accommodations and a restaurant.
