Why do archaeological tourism in Colombia?

A visit to archaeological sites teaches us about pre-Columbian indigenous civilizations who lived in these lands before the arrival of the Spanish Conquistadores.

The Archaeological Park of San Agustín, Huila, which was deemed a UNESCO World Heritage in 1995 There are traces of a culture over 3,000 years old.

Ciudad perdida

The Teyuna archaeological park, known as Lost City in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. This is home to the Tayrona Indian civilization, one of the most important in South America.  

Tierradentro

In Tierradentro Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995 there is a pre-Hispanic cemetery about 1,400 years old worth visiting.
