Before moving to Colombia, I volunteered in Mexico and Panama, earned my M.A. in England and traveled around Europe. I officially made Barranquilla, Colombia my "home" in October 2011 when I accepted a job as an English professor at la Universidad del Norte where I continue to teach.
When not working, I enjoy a good cup of tea, a day at the beach, spending time with my partner and two cats, blogging, reading travel journals/travel writing, and traveling any and every chance I get, both in and outside Colombia.

Yvan Rodic also known as Face Hunter was Born in Vevey, a French-speaking part of Switzerland. Rodic (1977-) studied Communication at Polycom Lausanne before taking on copy writing stints for Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi in Geneva, Brussels and Paris.
