The Colombian capital is situated at 2,640 meters above sea level. It is primarily known for the variety of high quality products and services on offer in all economic sectors. Here, the modern is mixed with the classic in a capital city set in peaceful surroundings. All of this makes Bogotá a modern, cosmopolitan and sustainably developed city.

Bogotá is home to almost 50% of the country's professional golf courses. Some of them were designed by international figures such as Robert Trent Jones, Gary Player and Mark Mahannah, and important tournaments have been held here such as the international European Challenge Tour which the players voted as the place where they felt most welcome. It is also worth noting the advantage of Bogotá's altitude. Being situated at 2,600 meters above sea level means that once the ball is hit it can travel 12% further through the air as compared to any other golf course in the world.
