Medellín has excellent gastronomy offers local and international food. The most fashionable bar and restaurant section is the vicinity of Parque Lleras, where food and establishments for all preferences are found.

Beans, arepas, buñuelos, empanadas, natilla, Antioquenean tamales, and blood sausages from the town of Envigado are some of the delicious dishes offered by the region’s cuisine.

El Poblado, the traditional residential section of the city also has a large selection of excellent typical and international food.

Not far from the city, excellent typical food is served in roadside picturesque diners called fondas paisas
