Plaza Mayor Convention Center in Medellín

The Plaza Mayor convention center has 21 meeting rooms, a grand salon for 3,000 people, 9 rooms for committee meetings with capacities ranging from 20 to 300 people, registration areas, and 280 parking spaces.

Additionally, there are a pressroom, a VIP room, a business center, and offices for congress operators.It borders the city center, La Alpujarra administrative center, and a direct route to the Laureles and El Poblado districts.

Capacity

The Centro de Convenciones Plaza Mayor has a Grand Salon for 3,000 people, which may be divided into six sections for groups as small as 200. It has nine complementary areas for groups between 20 and 300 people designed for business meetings or committee meetings.

Additionally, the center has a multifunctional space called La Caja de Madera (the wooden box) that can take groups between 700 and 1,200 people and is normally used for launching products, concerts, fashion shows, banquets, exhibits, and cultural events.
