The Coffee Region Tour: Otún Flora and Fauna Sanctuary

The Santuario de Fauna y Flora del Otún is located right in the center of an old Quimbaya Indian territory. Today, it is a haven for several endemic species, among them, howling monkeys, spectacled bears, the páramo tapir (tapirus pinchaque), deer, eagles, humming birds, guans, and many others.

One of its greatest attractions is the Laguna del Otún, an impressive lake located at 4,000 meters above sea level.
