Valle del Pacífico Events Center

The Valle del Pacífico Events Center, inaugurated in 2007, is the most recent and modern in the country. Its extension is 10,520 m²; and its capacity, 16,000 people.

Location and Access Routes

The Centro de Eventos Valle del Pacífico is located in the industrial heart of Arroyohondo, in the municpality of Yumbo, just five minutes from Cali and ten minutes from the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport.

Capacity

The event center has two large salons for 5,000 and 3,000, plus large outdoor areas for exhibits.  Additionally, it has four salons for committee meetings with a capacity of up to 75 people, 4 pressrooms, 20,000 m² of parking lots, and an ample food court.

The Valle del Pacífico Event Center offers the most recent technology for events and meetings:

• wireless internet access in 35 points strategically spread throughout the complex
• two optic fiber rings for permanent connections to the internet and the public telephone network
• 345 points for voice and data
• an automated audio and video system for independent events or for replicating in other rooms
• technical lighting
• closed circuit TV
• access control and intruder detection systems
• a 400-ton capacity air conditioning system
• raw sewage treatment
• emergency 700 KW electric plant and 2,000 KW electric substation

It also has:

• a food court large enough to feed 400 people simultaneously
• • a parking platform for 25 buses, 600 outdoor parking spaces, and 1,895 m² of underground space for parking and service areas

Additionally, it is equipped with first aid services, a nurse’s station, ATMs, a beauty salon, a post office, a book store, and a travel agency.
