Recinto del Pensamiento Convention Center in Manizales

The Recinto del Pensamiento (roughly translated as ‘space for thinking’) was created by the Caldas Coffeegrowers’ Committee with the idea of generating spaces for reflection and debate on the subjects of local development, education, environmental protection, and the acknowledgement of regional cultural identity.

Its initial purpose still stands, but due to its infrastructure and service conditions, it is now used also for business meetings, congresses, and events.

Location and access routes

The Recinto del Pensamiento is just outside the city of Manizales, on Kilometer 11 of the road that goes to the Magdalena Valley. The environment is natural and is graced especially by guadua woods and beautiful orchids.
