The Caribbean Cultural Park is a complex built to promote the natural, cultural, and historical legacy of the Colombian Caribbean. With an area larger than 215,278 square feet, it is located in the Barranquilla Historical Downtown and on its first wing has the Caribbean Museum. Additional wings it hosts the Caribbean Pilot Children's Library, the Macondo Media Library that specializes in the work of Gabriel García Marquez, a multi-purpose hall, a great public square with an outdoors theater, playgrounds and gardens.
