The Amira de la Rosa Theater is a cultural complex in the Colombian city of Barranquilla. It was named after the playwright and writer Amira de la Rosa, who wrote the lyrics for the anthem of Barranquilla. It is located in a strategic and traditional district of the city where the traditional neighborhoods of El Prado, Montecristo, and Abajo meet. There, sports venues such as the Humberto Perea Colisseum, the Olympic pool, and different universities are also found. It is also home of the cultural district of the Bank of the Republic in Barranquilla. It provides important work in the field of cultural awareness and is the main stage in the city for exhibitions, concerts, gatherings, festivals, presentations, and meetings.
