Antioquia
In a fabulous descent from the Central Andes to the plains of the Magdalena River lies the Magdalena Medio, or Middle Magdalena, an area with a pleasantly warm climate.
This tour was designed for lovers of ecological tourism, agro-tourism, and religious and cultural pilgrimages. This Antioquia sub-region is located on a high plateau with a mixture of lovely architecture, kind people, cozy hotels and green scenery.
Visit western Antioquia, a magical land full of history and beautiful landscapes. On account of its location on the Central and Western Ranges of the Andes, the majesty of the Cauca River can be perceived in its entire splendor.
Western Antioquia
Just 20 minutes from Medellín, a variety of landscapes in the form of forests, high plateaus, and reservoirs begins to be seen. The area is characterized by typical villages where parks are an ideal spot to spend some time and savor the exquisite typical dishes of paisa cuisine, naturally accompanied by the delicious, traditional aguardiente (sugar cane spirits).
Let yourself be charmed by one of the loveliest regions in Antioquia, surrounded by mountains, rivers, waterfalls and famous for its flowers, coffee plantations, and sugar cane mills. Give the traditional sweets and exquisite cuisine a chance to delight you.
Urabá is color, beach, and a mixture of the cultures of Antioquia and the Caribbean Coast, all in a single place. It is the coastal region of Antioquia on the Atlantic Ocean.
