Nuquí is a real jewel of Nature. Wonderful plants, walking trees, lianas that evoke tales of our childhood, logs that become houses or launches: and the hills of this fertile land look as if that had come off the pages of Burroughs.

Where the fertile earth blends into sandy shores, you can see thousands of crabs scuttling from side to side to avoid the waves, and some huge, peaceable animals that sing under the water as they breed. Humpback whales, Hawksbill turtles, Olive Ridley turtles and the whales swim silently through their underwater kingdom, inhabited by giants.
