This is the most frequent mode of travel towards the center of the country, mainly to Medellín, Quibdó, Bogotá, and Cali. Airlines are SATENA and ADA. Its runway has the capacity for light planes, maximum ATR or Fokker types, and measures 950 by 12 meters.

By water:

Access by sea is from Buenaventura, the port that supplies Bahía Solano with consumer products, food, hardware, etc. The trip takes 12 hours by speedboat or 24 by marine transport services.

Within the municipality, various private services provide transportation in speedboats to any location in the region.
