How to get to Guatavita
The road to Guatavita runs through pine-scented hills.
Take the Bogota – Tunja road (the main highway out of Bogotá to the north) or the La Calera road. At Km35 of the north highway turn right to Sesquilé and then follow signs to Guatavita. It takes about an hour and a half to get there from north Bogota.
