How to get to Barichara

The road to Barichara is in excellent condition. You can reach it from Bucaramanga, 110km or 2 hours away; or from Bogota, 445km or 5-6 hours away as far as San Gil, and then 20 minutes to the village.

Or, you can fly to Bucaramanga and catch a bus. The road passes through some fascinating scenery of mountainous and fertile soils and desert-type landscapes.
