You can reach Cartagena easily overland from Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Sincelejo, Montería or Medellín.

There are domestic flights to Cartagena from most major cities.

Most international flights arrive in El Dorado, Bogota before connecting on to Rafael Núñez in Cartagena (Barrio Crespo, Calle 71 N° 3-89, Tel: + 57 (5) 666 6610).

Cartagena is also reached by sea: its strategic location in Latin America makes it a regular port of call for cruise liners from all over the world.

In high season Cartagena receives up to 100 cruises.
