Beginning immediately, whoever wants to learn what Bogota and the surrounding departments of Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Tolima, and Meta have to offer only has to download - free of charge - the new service portfolio, which includes complete descriptions of attractions, splendid images, and up-to-date prices.
For those who do not know it, the Central Region is composed of 315 municipalities that cover a total of 157,000 km² and represent 30% of all Colombian municipalities.
The portfolio initiative was led by Bogota’s Tourism Institute, with the participation of service providers and tourism directors from the various departments, Bogotá and the Central Region, all of whom trust that everybody will get to know these charming and fertile lands.
The portfolio (download .zip 10.2 Mb), which may be downloaded from Bogota’s official website, is an attempt to contribute to improving competitiveness and to increase receptive and domestic tourism, in accordance with the policies and plans of Bogotá and the departments of Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Meta, and Tolima.
