Tendencias 2014 Cartagena Bridal Week is the latest edition of an annual event that will take place from September 9 to 12 in Cartagena, Colombia. The event is organized by Sofitel Legend Santa Clara hotel in alliance with Simone Lejour.
This year, industry experts will contribute to the show’s objective to showcase updated and innovative trends of the wedding industry and provide a unique environment for the networking of industry professionals.
In its sixth edition, the event counts with the participation of distinguished industry guests such as Peter Callahan, luxury catering expert and creator of the miniature food presentation (Bite Foods); Matthew Robins, Wedding Designer, creates events with glamour and special effects with an affordable budget for everyone. Both Callahan and Robins also work as editors of Martha Stewart Weddings.
In addition, Michelle Rago, Destination Wedding Planner who seeks new luxury weddings destinations; Terry Gruber, Wedding Photographer, made famous by several media like The New York Times and Vanity Fair, among others; Barbara Diez, Wedding Planner Latin America and the first in Argentina, and from Colombia Paulo Carvajal, an expert in business and marketing of the Industry.
The event also looks to support the new talent that is being introduced to the wedding industry while promoting Cartagena’s and Colombia’s image as a wedding destination in the luxury market.
Carmen Otero, Marketing & Sales Director of Sofitel Legend Santa Clara, reassures this idea by highlighting the award given to the hotel in 2013, recognized as the “Best hotel for Weddings in South America”, by the World Luxury Hotel Awards.
