Manzanillo Beach in Providencia
Seventy two kilometers north of San Andrés is the island of Providencia, a unique destination declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. On account of its geographical isolation, its primitive infrastructure, and a population of only 4,000 inhabitants, it is the ideal site for relaxing in an absolutely natural environment.
Coral reefs border coasts of white beaches, an attractive landscape for tourism.
Thanks to its 20-kilometer coral barrier, it offers splendid conditions for diving. Its beaches are solitary, beautiful, and extremely peaceful.
Santa Catalina Island is Providencia’s younger sister, connected to it by the picturesque Lovers’ Bridge. This small mountainous island of just one square kilometer offers a romantic, solitary beach bathed by warm, clear water. It is one of the most seductive beaches in Colombia.
