Hacienda San José, the charm of nature

Hacienda San José was built in 1888, and has always belonged to the Mejía Marulanda family, who are also part of the group of founding families of the city of Pereira.

Hacienda San José combines international cuisine with traditional Colombian dishes.

For the last 11 years, the farm has been open, offering accommodation to the public, and in 2005, it formalized operations as an hotel.

Today, this exceptional house is classed as a boutique hotel, and offers personalized service to its guests, who enjoy the warmth of the atmosphere, and the charm of the surroundings.

Hacienda San José combines international cooking with traditional local dishes, and an interesting wine list.

The garden is amazing - and there is a Ceiba 180 years old, there are 80 species of birds, and a 265-year-old Samán, irradiating energy, and offering strength to innumerable species.

The hotel is on the Pereira-Cerritos road, towards the north of Valle del Cauca. The trip is a journey through time, offering a marvelous experience in contact with nature.
