Near the capital city of Montería and the neighboring villages of Cereté, Ciénaga de Oro, Berástegui, San Pelayo, Planeta Rica and Moñitos, there is an abundance of haciendas where travelers can go horseback riding, sports fishing and trekking or simply enjoy the native flora and fauna. Between Planeta Rica and Buenavista, Los Caimanes Zoo Park combines the wonderful Córdoba landscapes with fun animal shows. The Park has multiple lodging facilities and a good restaurant.
