The Bicentennial Independence Day in the Cities

This is a celebration of 200 years of history, of independence, 200 years to celebrate and embellish the streets. July 20th of 2010 is an occasion to feel the independence won two centuries ago when we liberated from the Spanish constituting ourselves as an Independent Republic.

The most important venues for this Colombian festivity are Cartagena and Bogotá, which through concerts, folklore, parades, fireworks, and cultural activities will give locals and foreigners alike an unforgettable experience.
