Storage of coffee

Roasted, ground coffee deteriorates rapidly due to air, humidity, heat, time, and the aromas of other products.

For proper storage, remember the following:

Café molido:

Roasted coffee packed in ordinary bags remains fresh for one month if ground and two months if not ground. In bags with a degassing valve, which protects the aroma, it can be stored for up to six months. Vacuum packed coffee may be stored for up to one year.

Conservación del café:

Once the package is open, store the coffee in airtight containers in the coldest and driest place available, preferably the refrigerator or the freezer.

Porción individual:

If you buy your coffee in bean form, grind only the amount you will use immediately.
